CodeIT AS Collaborates with Cyient Norway AS on the Rosebank FPSO Project

CodeIT AS is proud to announce its collaboration with Cyient Norway AS on the Rosebank FPSO Project. This collaboration will involve providing professional Project Life Cycle Information (LCI) resources, including a robust LCI management system and consultancy services, starting in June 2024.

The Rosebank FPSO Project, an initiative by Altera Infrastructure, focuses on the comprehensive upgrade of the PetroJARL Knarr floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) for redeployment at Equinor’s Rosebank field development, offshore UK. The project is being executed by a joint venture that includes Aker Solutions, Drydocks World-Dubai, Cyient Norway AS, ABB Norway AS, and OneSubsea Processing AS. The LCI aspect of the project adheres to Equinor’s standards and TIRC document requirements.

CodeIT LCI engineers will leverage our industry-leading product, CodeIT eLCI™, to enhance LCI data quality management and traceability. This will ensure the project's LCI delivery meets all contract requirements. Key functionalities of the CodeIT eLCI™ product include:

Task Assignment:

• Suppliers and engineers can conveniently submit TAG INDEXES to Cyient through a secure web page login.
• TAG INDEXES will be managed as tasks with planned dates, assigned to users based on Purchase Orders (PO) or Engineering Packages.

Data Collection:

• Ensures control over TAG INDEXES submissions and updates via revisions and review codes.
• Facilitates easy access to equipment data required in eqHUB, identified by model number.

Data Validation:

• Streamlines data quality with automated validation checks.
• Validates various elements such as tag numbering vs ENS, metadata vs Class Library, tag component checks, function code-description verification, and document verification for TAG-DOC INDEX.
• Uses a workflow similar to the normal DC process for data validation before storage.
• Only data with acceptance code will be transferred and stored in the database, ready for client submission.

Auto Submission:

• The CodeIT database can transfer approved data to any other database daily or according to the project’s agreed submission frequency.

Status Reporting:

• Provides comprehensive review processes and status reporting to the team.
• Offers views on index completeness by PO, data completeness by INDEX, and overdue tasks.
• Exports metadata for additional reporting with other tools.
