🟠 CodeIT Gears Up for Greater Growth.

CodeIT was founded in 2011 by Bjørnar Torsnes. With Torsnes at the helm and with its fantastic team of dedicated professionals, that now number more than 70 people around the globe, the company is truly a success story that has evolved and grown to become known as the CodeIT Group. As a measure of its success, in 2025 market leaders in many industrial sectors use and depend on the company’s unique hardware brand-independent production automation and traceability software and services known as the CodeIT Enterprise™ Ecosystem for business-critical applications in 26 countries.

To further maintain and ensure a high level of continued international growth, Bjørnar Torsnes will now focus all his energies on his role as Chairman of the CodeIT Group and Biz Dev. At the same time Christian Öhrn takes over the baton from Torsnes as CEO of the CodeIT Group. In addition to his role as CEO of the CodeIT Group, Christian, who joined the company in 2015 to set up the CodeIT subsidiary in Sweden, retains his responsibility for running daily operations in Sweden as Country Manger and CEO of CodeIT AB.

At the same time, at CodeIT AS in Norway, Thomas Anfinnes, who joined CodeIT in 2014 and has gone up through the ranks, moves up from his position as Sales Manager Norway to become Country Manager Norway, thereby fully enabling Torsnes to focus on his role as Chairman of the CodeIT Group and Biz Dev for the Group as Thomas takes over running the daily operations in Norway.
