IEC 62443

IEC 62443 is a comprehensive series of international standards for securing Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS).

IEC 62443 provides a structured, risk-based framework for asset owners, integrators, and product suppliers to manage cybersecurity threats in operational technology (OT) environments. It covers the entire lifecycle, defining requirements for secure design, implementation, and maintenance, ensuring systems meet specific security levels (SLs) from accidental misuse (SL 1) to sophisticated attacks (SL 4).
