CodeIT OEE⢠makes factories smarter.
OEE stands for Overall Equipment Effectiveness. CodeIT Product Manager Quang Nguyen beams when he says that âDevelopment of CodeIT OEE⢠started at the end of 2022, and it was pretty much fully tested and completed by the end of 2024. With some fine tuning at the start of 2025, it was ready for release.â
Senior Project Manager Peter Nordsten at CodeIT explains âA major requirement, and something that would set CodeIT OEE⢠apart, was the need for rapid deployment combined with ease of use. And that is just what it does. We made it as a web-app and super intuitive to use.â
He goes on to add âthe proof of the pudding is in the eatingâ - in three short months, from early March to early June, CodeITâs longstanding customer Lantmännen Cerealia has sequentially rolled out and implemented the service in 9 factories in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland with one more factory to come.

Highly beneficial cooperation.
The highly beneficial cooperation between CodeIT and Lantmännen Cerealia started in 2011 with a pilot project at the Lantmännen Cerealia factory in Vejle, Denmark. The factory in Vejle was the first in the Group to start using CodeITâs innovative application suite, CodeIT Enterpriseâ˘. Lantmännen Cerealiaâs objective was to end up having the same labeling and coding integration system at all of its factories in the Nordic Region. In the process it was Lantmännen Cerealia who first coined the phrase âCodeIT is the holy grail of labeling, coding and integrationâ.
By being on the shop floor and seeing what was happening, such as is the case at Lantmännen Cerealia, CodeIT engineers are able to work closely together with customers and develop new business-critical microservices that help customers turn their factories into smart factories. After first becoming a user of the CodeIT Enterprise coding, marking and labeling system, that is how the first iteration of CodeIT OEE saw light of day at Lantmännen Cerealia almost 10 years ago. And it is how CodeIT OEE⢠has come about.
