Harvest Management Services.
CodeIT, Sone4, and Chalmers Industriteknik awarded Eurostars funding from EUREKA Network to develop a user-friendly traceability system for wild fisheries to secure product quality and legality against new industry requirements.
The TRACELAND project aims to design, develop, and validate Legal Landing: an innovative, user-friendly, and end-to-end traceability solution for wild fisheries. CodeIT - Nordic traceability and production automation experts; Sone4 - software architecture, programming, and automation experts; and Chalmers Industriteknik - applied AI and circular economy experts, have teamed up to develop a solution that will secure EU market demands for product quality, sustainability, legality, and supply chain transparency within the fish industry. The project, with a duration of 2.5 years and an 814,000 euro budget, will assist in rapidly and seamlessly adopting new regulatory requirements for all types of fisheries and reception facilities, small or big, while enhancing transparency and efficiency. Legal Landing will be built in a versatile and adaptable manner, capable of meeting unique traceability needs of different company sizes and industry sectors.
Eurostars is the largest international funding program for SMEs aiming to create innovative products, processes, or services for commercialization. TRACELAND was selected during the Eurostars-3, Call 6 that closed March 2024 and it is co-financed by the national budgets of each partner’s state, via #Forskningsrådet (The Research Council of Norway) and #Vinnova from Sweden, as well as by the EUREKA Network.
